M. Antonia Huertas
She holds a PhD in Mathematics, focused in Mathematical Logic, by the University of Barcelona (UB). She’s Bachelor in Mathematics from the UB and Bachelor in Humanities from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). She’s lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Multimedia and Telecommunication at UOC. She has participated in several national and international research projects related with e-learning of mathematics and technology-enhanced learning. She focuses her research on Knowledge Representation, Technology-Enhanced Learning and Mathematical e-Learning.
M. Elena Rodríguez
She received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and Universidad de Alcalá, respectively. Since June 2001 she is a lecturer at the Computer Science, Multimedia and Telecommunication Studies of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) with a permanent position. From a teaching perspective, she coordinates undergraduate and master’s database courses. She has participated in several national and international research projects devoted to the development of technology that applies Semantic Web to e-learning specifications and standards. Her current research interests deal with knowledge representation modeling and engineering with particular application in technology enhanced assessment, analytics and feedback (e-assessment).
Ana Elena Guerrero Roldan
She holds a PhD focused in e-learning and technology by the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). She’s Bachelor in Pedagogy from Ramon Llull University (URLL) and specialist in Education on line. She’s lecturer in higher education, in the Department of Computer Science, Multimedia and Telecommunication at UOC. She is a member of the Digital Literacy area which provides a compulsory subject related with a set of ICT competences in all university Bachelor’s degrees. She has participated in several national and international research projects related with the teaching and learning process in distance learning environments. She focuses her research on the design of adaptive learning paths for online higher education that respond to the users’ needs from both personal and educational perspectives using ICT.
César Córcoles Briongos
He is lecturer at the IT, Multimedia and Telecommunications Department of the UOC. BSc in Mathematics. He coordinates scientific subjects of the Multimedia degrees. He also works in a range of topics such as web standards, the impact of new technologies on knowledge transfer, the ‘new media’ and e-learning.

Enosha Hettiarachchi
She holds a PhD in Information and Knowledge Society (Network and Information Technologies area), focused on e-assessment and technology by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), Spain. She has obtained both her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in the field of Computer Science from University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC), Sri Lanka. Currently, she is working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) of the UOC. Her main research interests are technology-enhanced assessment, e-learning, technologies and tools for distance education, and learning object repositories.

Enric Mor
Graduated in Computer Science by the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC). PhD in Information and Knowledge Society by Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). Since 1998 he is lecturer at the Computer Science, Multimedia and Telecommunication Studies of the UOC. His main research areas are human-computer interaction, accessibility and technology enhanced learning. He teach several undergraduate and graduate HCI courses and also is the academic director of the UOC HCI certificate program.
Adriana Ornellas
She graduated in Computer Science she obtained a PhD in Pedagogy by the University of Barcelona (UB). Currently she is a lecturer at the IT, Multimedia and Telecommunications Department of the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and an associate professor at the Department of Teaching and Learning and Educational Organization of the University of Barcelona. Her main research interests and activities are related to the following fields: emerging environments and technologies for learning in contemporary society, initial teacher training and professional development in ICT, new literacies and systems for inclusion in digital society.
